1、 Observation method

Example: The weighing is not accurate and the variation is large. It was observed that the approach bridge at one end had collapsed and squeezed the weighing platform, the whole weighing platform was stuck, and the lower parts of both ends of the weighing platform were also blocked by the accumulated dust falling from long-term use. After the above problems are solved, it will return to normal.
2、 Measurement comparison method
Test the bridge power supply (+8V for XK3190-A9 instrument) with the voltage range of the multimeter, whether the instrument working power supply (+5V) is normal (can be compared with a good instrument), whether the sensor output signal is stable, and whether the output signal of several sensors has excessive deviation. Use a multimeter to check whether the cable is short circuited, open circuited, and the sensor resistance is normal.
3、 Alternative method
When simple detection methods cannot accurately determine the specific fault components, the fault components and parts can be determined by checking whether the fault can be eliminated after the suspect components are replaced with good components or substitutes.
For example, when judging some faults, use the simulator to replace the sensor signal, and judge the instrument fault or sensor fault by whether the instrument displays normally. In this method, use the available substitutes to replace the suspect devices.
4、 Exclusion method
For the suspected faulty device, disconnect it from the system without affecting the working conditions of the whole system to see if it can restore the system to normal operation.
For example, a truck scale shows drift, which changes by ± dozens of kg near zero point. At this time, a simple test cannot detect the fault part. At this time, you can use the method of disconnecting a sensor from the junction box, or using the sensor to directly connect with the instrument (disconnecting the junction box) to find the fault part.
